«Gracefully Falling» is a series about the Eisbachsurfers and a small river wave, a landmark and incredibly popular with tourists in Munich, photographing and recording the rides. I was wondering how many great photographs there must be of those skillful surfers gracefully riding the wave and how little of the once that fall. I decided to photograph the moments of the fall and found them to be equally graceful but full of drama and story. That small wave, a colossus.
